It was love at first sight. *sigh*
I honestly thought I could never fall in love with someone else's style, but I just did. *sigh*
I'm utterly speechless. I have no idea how to go about explaining how much I'm in love with this photo. Everything she's wearing is very much understated yet SO DRAMATIC! And this is the kind of fashion I'm attracted to.
Her color selection is absolutely gorgeous. The volume of the pants and the sleeves can be a bit much for others but I think she made the right choice of choosing colors that are neutral. There's also no bold patterns or prints competing with each other; it's just all about the proportions of her pants and blouse. I love how she cinched her pants with a skinny belt in a different shade of blue, giving her waist a definition. There is just such refinement and delicacy to her wardrobe that I am loving.
I also do think that her pants and blouse are the perfect backdrop to her wildly tamed hair, equally voluminous black bag and silver shoes with glass wedges. And THOSE SHOES! THAT HAIR! THE LIGHTING AND THE COMPOSITION OF THE PHOTO!
Ladies and gent...to me this is beyond love. This is heaven.

Well just like newspapers and aluminum cans FASHION is always recycled.
The fashion world will always bring back past trends and give it a twist of 21st century fashion. It really doesn't matter if you are wearing clothing pieces from the 50s, 70s or 90s I think if you look great and stylish than go for it. The girl in the photo I believe is absolutely tres chic and I do mean every word of what I wrote. She is fashionably cool and gorgeous in every sense of the word.
And lastly isn't "Hammer Time" in the 90s? Just wondering.

Great top, great shoes. Not so much for the pants. But I think she is "moderning" them up with the shoes. And yes HammerTime was like 1990 or so.
